Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

The Publican Collective ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This notice explains how we handle personal data submitted through publicancollective.co.uk.

What we collect

When you register interest as a founding member we collect your name, pub or business name, pub postcode, email address, optional telephone number, pub type, purchasing arrangement, any message you choose to send, and your marketing preference.

Why we collect it

To record your expression of interest, contact you about founding membership, and understand the needs of prospective members so we can shape the organisation. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests. We only send news and marketing communications if you have opted in (consent), and you can withdraw at any time.

How we store it

Data is stored in a secure database with access restricted to authorised administrators of The Publican Collective. It is never published or sold.

How long we keep it

We keep registrations for as long as needed to establish the Collective, and in any case no longer than 24 months after your last contact with us unless you become a member.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data, object to processing, or withdraw consent. Email hello@publicancollective.co.uk. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
